We shared a beer with the Brewer and Co-founder Nathan Munt of King River Brewing. King River is an award winning and proudly independent family-owned brewery, created with Nathan’s wife Brianna. Their taproom offers 12 rotating beer taps, a mouth-watering chefs menu and hand rolled woodfired pizzas…so was it a yes to the age old debate of pineapple on pizza?!

1. How was the brewery named?

We really wanted to focus on our pristine and wonderful location in High Country, Victoria. The River flows through the back of the property, and as fresh country water makes great fresh beers, King River Brewing was aptly named.

2. What beers do you have at home in your fridge now?

Kolsch, Birra, Biere De Garde

3. Best tip for visiting the brewery?

Get the tasting paddle and some share plates to go with our amazing pizzas! You can find a lot of perfect matches with this combo!

4. Pineapple on pizza, YES or NO?

No. (Well there you have it!)

5. If you can only use one hop for the rest of your life, what is it?
