1. How was the brewery named?
Named after an old convict who would row from one side of the cooks to the other – basically the first form of water taxi.
2. What beers do you have at home in your fridge now?
All Willie the Boatman as the brewery its hard to go for anything else.
3. Best tip for visiting the brewery?
Come on a Saturday for the best atmosphere.
4. Pineapple on pizza, YES or NO?
Definitely no pineapple on pizza.
5. If you can only use one hop for the rest of your life, what is it?
Only hop I would use is Aussie Cascade
6. If you could collaborate with one other brewery, who would you choose?
Reckless brewing from the heart of Bathurst, great team and great beers.
7. Some occasions call for the ‘perfect’ beer, what are you reaching for:
- a beach beer? Powder Monkey Drop Anchor
- an airport beer? At airport has to be a red wine, because its tough to get a good crafty in an airport
- the end of the day beer? Willies Crazy Ivan – 10am beer is always dark lager.
- the ‘best beer with dinner’ beer? Andy smash Hazy
- to kick back and watch sport with? Bravo Zulu Pilsner
