By donating the majority of leftover grain to farmers, they transform what would be waste into valuable livestock feed. Additionally, via Local Brewing Co’s innovative collaboration with Coles Liquor, the ‘Surplus Series’, has diverted a staggering 50+ tonnes of fruit and bread from ending up in landfills. By raising awareness about food wastage, Local Brewing Co is actively making strides towards a more sustainable future for all.
 
The Local taproom is powered by 30 solar panels ensuring the venue is proudly carbon neutral, demonstrating their dedication to reducing their environmental footprint. Any excess energy consumption is offset through certified sources endorsed by Climate Active, ensuring that every aspect of their operation aligns with their commitment to a greener planet.
