At Westside Ale Works the beers specialties typically includes styles like American Pale Ales, West Coast IPAs, American Sours, and Stouts. 

Westside Ale Works is constantly experimenting. With the addition of their barrel aging program in 2019, they starting thinking about the synergy between beer, spirits and barrels. Soon after Westside purchased a pot still and reflux still to hone in on their skills. This is continuing to evolve and has recently seen the release a unique Four Grain Whiskey, Dark Rum and Gin. Each batch is made by hand from the finest ingredients. They even re-cooper their own barrels!

In 2020 Westside Aleworks added on two 2000L fermenters, which essentially doubled their brewing capacity! The plan is to continue to get freshly brewed beer out to everyone we can, and now nation-wide via Craft Cartel Brewery Direct range. There is something  for everyone, including the non-beer drinkers.

• Solar Panels: invested in solar panels installed at the brewery and taproom roofs. These panels harness the power of the sun, providing us with clean and renewable energy and help reduce carbon footprint, be more energy efficient, support local green energy for a cleaner, greener community.
• Energy Subsidization: By saving on energy bills, this allows us to allocate more resources towards creating high-quality, sustainable craft beers for our customers. Westside are committed to passing on these savings to our patrons.
• Ongoing Sustainability Efforts: continuously exploring new ways to become even more sustainable. This includes optimising brewing process, reducing water usage, and finding eco-friendly packaging solutions.
