Friday Frothies – Ballistic Apricot Twang Review

Hey Guys!!!

Another Friday has come around (much quicker than expected) – which means another Friday Frothy review.

This week is an APRICOT SOUR that came in the box this month.

I know Sours aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I also struggle to see how people don’t enjoy them when they taste this good.

Full of Apricots (as the style suggests), Ballistics have managed to find a great balance between the sweetness of the apricots and the tartness of the Sour. As you could imagine with a beer so jam packed full of fruit, the aroma is incredible – bursting with plenty of…APRICOTY aromas, who would have thought?!

Though the best part about this beer is the fact that it isn’t too overwhelming in sweetness or tartness, creating quite a session-ability about this 4.6%er.

If you have any predetermined thoughts or grudges against sours, put them aside for this beer. It is a tasty, tarty little thing that really helps break up the hoppy bitterness of the beer world.
