The Freshwater Brewing Co named their new release Pilsner as an homage to their fave local beach: Freshie Pils.
Refreshing, crisp, and satisfying – perfect for a knock-off beverage or an easy go-to for a weekend sesh when you want to chill! Aptly described on the can ‘that feeling of stretching out with your feet in the sand and not moving anywhere fast.’
Freshie Pils pours a light golden clear yellow, ticking the box with plenty of mouth-feel from the hops (Hallertau Blanc and Mandarin Bavaria). On the palate, this German-style Pils surprises with a fresh take with plenty of tropical stone fruit to be savoured. With an interesting mellow white grape, clean & crisp finish too.
