We went and did it. We released the Sludgebeast! From the darkness pours an enveloping, aromatic, velvety, rich, and smooth, Imperial Stout by the legends at Little Bang Brewing Co.
Pouring a rich dark deep colour, you’ll be taken in by the porty and chocolate and coffee aromas. Not so much sludge, but dense. Heavier and maltier than your standard stout.
She’s got plenty of depth, lots of character, and length. She’s big and porty and chocolatey and hints of vanilla too, and did we say she’s BIG?!
Little Bang said, “Why not?” Why not fill the mash to the top? Why not use that many specialty grains? Why not dose it with coffee, cocoa, vanilla, oak, port. And, why not? We’d have to wholeheartedly, agree! Sludgebeast Imperial Stout is a sensational sip and a teensy bit smashable! Be warned 12% ABV.
