Friday Frothies – Loophole Brewing Salt Water Stout Porter Review

We have made it through another week and they seem to be getting quicker and quicker.

But…
Congratulations on making it through!!!

We can now start to socialise again, leave our house without feeling bad and most importantly…HAVE A BEER AT THE PUB (shortly in VIC).

To celebrate, I have cracked open a Stout Porter by Loophole Brewing.

Colder weather calls for darker beers – so the Salt Water Stout Porter was an easy choice this week.

7% will warm the cockles of the heart any day, but Loophole manages to do it in a way that’s not only big – but comforting too.

Dark and malty, this beer is complemented by plenty of chocolate and banana tones. Some mouthfuls literally taste like choc-banana (which is delicious) but the addition of the saltwater in the kettle really helps create a sweet and dare I say it – salty beer that combines so nicely.

Keeping that in mind, with the inclusion of a smooth mouthfeel and a fairly decent ABV, you get yourself a beautiful winter beer that everyone can enjoy.

Will keep an eye out for Loophole in the future.

Drink up!
