Friday Frothies – Lord Howe Phasmid Pale Ale Review

Hey all you cool cats and kittens.

Welcome to another Frothy Friday in isolation. I am super jealous of all you people in N.T who are getting pubs back, and QLD and WA who have had restrictions relaxed. But I will soldier on, drinking my beers in the comfort of my home.

This week’s, is a beautiful pale from Lord Howe Island Brewing – Phasmid.

Named after the stick insect that was thought to be extinct (only to be rediscovered on Lord Howe Island in 2001). As you would expect from a stick insect related beer, plenty of piney aromas and flavours, complemented by some citrus as well.

This is not too hoppy, but enough to keep it interesting. Crisp yet smooth as all pales should be and jam packed full of flavour that will keep you wanting more.

Great little beer, for a great little bug.

Until next week.
Drink up!!
