We all have our fave brews so admit to a bit of trepidation tasting today’s sour, so was pleasantly surprised by Stockade Brew Co’s Raspberry Burst Sour Ale.

Don’t get us wrong, it delivers the raspberry burst! As soon as you crack the can open you’ll be enveloped by a fresh raspberry aroma, that certainly carries through on the palate.

But there is more going on here.

Light straw coloured, crisp, clean, and refreshing with good carbonation. The raspberry burst delivers a mouth-watering flavour of raspberry (of course), with a subtle tang of acidity, lifted with hints of lemon for a bright clean mild tart, and fruity character, typical of a Berliner Weisse styled sour.

If you have a thirst, Stockade Brew Co’s Raspberry Burst Sour Ale is here to quench it. Your taste buds will enjoy this refreshing, crisp, bright beer. A cracker for knock off drinks on Friday arvo!

Try Stockade Brew Co Raspberry Burst Sour Ale With…Tuna Sushi!  

Tuna sushi worked well! The tart character and brightness of the beer plays the part of the acidic portion of the dish, similar to how you squeeze lemon on seafood. Stockade’s Raspberry Burst Sour Ale would be great alongside seafood served with lemon and butter too!
