Childhood memories came flooding back with this beer. Creaming Soda was a special treat for us as kids, and on special occasions when we were particularly angelic, mum would add ice-cream to the glass, creating a spider.
This beer is no ‘drinking water from the hose’ but it did evoke memories of a time when we didn’t have a care in the world – running under the sprinkler, swinging on the Hills Hoist and riding our BMX without a helmet.
The gang at Hairyman Brewery in Caringbah must’ve tapped into their inner-child when they dreamt up this beer. Pouring a pale straw colour with a light foamy head, the aroma is the first thing you notice. You quickly realise this is no regular beer – berries are popping out of the glass. On the first sip my mind is literally blown!
How did they do this? Where is the flavour coming from? What on earth is going on here?
The strong berry flavours with subtle vanilla undertones …………. OMG OMG OMG.
I cannot think of anymore to write, I’m going back to crack another, and highly recommend you try this mind-blowing beer.
