Bentspoke x Maltshovel Bentshovel XBA is a 6% ABV Amber Extra Belgian Ale collaboration by the two breweries, inspired by BentSpoke’s love of Belgian style ales and is brewed with rich deep amber malts, a combination of Idaho 7 and Cashmere hops and a farmhouse yeast. A little bit of Belgium Down Under!
BREWERY SNAPSHOT
BentSpoke Brewing Co is the brainchild of Champion Australian brewer Richard Watkins and Tracy Margrain. The pair travelled the world drawing inspiration for their ideal brewpub. On June 6, 2014, BentSpoke threw its doors open to overwhelming support from the local Canberra community. They believe that nothing worthwhile comes easily. Determined to take a more adventurous route, they live to take the unfamiliar road and bent a few spokes along the way.
