While not directly on the battleground, the Black Hops office team (The Chair Force) have the enviable task of holding fort at Black Hops behind the scenes. Their mission drink of choice is coffee in the mornings and beer in the afternoons. But in an endless pursuit of efficiency, they decided to combine them. This 6.5% creamy milk stout is flanked by a helping of chocolate and a generous dose of coffee courtesy of their new neighbours at Black Hops Brisbane, Fortitude Coffee Roasters. Coffee is for closers, beer is for bosses.
Black Hops Brewing is 3 mates making craft beer and sharing everything they learn along the way. After discussing a concept over beer at the pub, Dan, Eddie and Govs set off to make their first beer, the Eggnog Stout. Once the pilot brew batch was out, their attention quickly turned to doing a proper commercial brew. They opened the doors to their own brewery and taproom in Burleigh Heads in June 2016.
