TASTING NOTES

Coppery blond, the finest aromas and a strong bitterness transform this beer into a thirst-quenchener with no equal, just the way it was created. Their selection of yeasts is the perfect base for these typical aromas and ditto taste. A real refermentation in the bottle, which will continue for a long time in your cellar, results in a complex and particularly aromatic beer.

BREWERY SNAPSHOT

In 1920, Louis Dupont, agronomist, considered purchasing a farm in Canada. In order to dissuade him, his father, Alfred Dupont, bought him the farm-brewery Rimaux-Deridder dating back from 1759. This farm-brewery was renowned for its production of beer Saison and of honey beer. In 1945, Louis Dupont, who had no children, bequeathed the Brewery Dupont to his nephew Sylva Rosier, engineer-brewer. Today, the children and grand-children of Sylva Rosier remain the owners of the Brewery Dupont. Sylva Rosier’s grand-son Olivier Dedeycker started working at the brewery as engineer-brewer in 1990.

In 1997, during the World Beer Championship in Chicago, Brasserie Du Pont were nominated as one of the ten best breweries in the world. As a matter of fact, in 2005, their Saison Dupont, was elected as “The Best Beer in the World” by the American “Men’s Journal”!
