BrewCult originally just wanted to brew something for the summer festival season but now they’ve decided to run it year-round. It’s hot and sunny so why not drink a quaffer that you can enjoy all day long. “Keep Having Fun” is the mantra behind this beer. Almost no bitterness, medium body, very subtle malt. All fruity hops suitable for quaffing.
BrewCult is the baby of Steve Henderson (aka Hendo), one of the Australian craft beer industry’s marvelously colourful characters. Some of his beers are to style, others are extreme. On his website this statement sums it up best, “You won’t like every BrewCult beer….but you’ll enjoy the experience of trying it.”
DID YOU KNOW?
Hendo enjoyed spells at Prickly Moses, where he brewed The Raconteur: a love story about hops, Murray’s, and Southern Bay, where he released beers, such as the Hop Bazooka, that captured the attention of craft beer drinkers. And now he’s struck out on his own under the name BrewCult, which he announced to the world with a beer called Hop Zone.
