Bridge Road Fruit Salad Sour

TASTING NOTES

This light bodied sour farmhouse ale showcases the aroma and flavour of a tropical fruit salad with mango, passionfruit and pineapple all jumping from the glass. These tropical fruits all continue through the palate melded perfectly with the unmis-takable tartness and mineral content of a gose. The base beer is made like a traditional German Gose using a large portion of wheat malt and brewing water with a high mineral content. After primary fermentation the fruit salad aspect was added using Mango, Passionfruit and Pineapple.

Conceived by Ben Kraus in his dad’s back shed in 2005, Bridge Road Brewers has grown to become one of Australia’s best craft breweries. In their hometown of Beechworth they are constantly developing new recipes to satisfy the curiosity of themselves and their customers.
