Hairyman’s Rua Red IPA is for the discerning IPA drinker, gloriously amber red in a Celtic tradition where Rua is Gaelic for red-haired. With all the intensity of fruity blossom bitterness laid on a solid malt cornerstone, Rua Red IPA is satisfyingly complex with the boozy warm finish.

BREWERY SNAPSHOT

Hairyman Brewery is located on the shores of Botany Bay, where the Hairyman reportedly roamed himself. It is a family run brewery with a 25 HL brewhouse and a number of fermenters designed to cover the various capacity requirements of a small brewery.

DID YOU KNOW?

Hairyman brewery pays homage to the legendary Hairyman who roams this great southern land. He created notoriety on the shores of Botany Bay, the story of one such encounter is recorded in the National Library Archive records. Documented back in settlement days, “The Wild Hairyman of Botany Bay” frightened the life out of the new settled colony in his quest to partake of their rations of fine ale and spirits.
