Heralding from the deep south of the US of A, brewer Brooks has often spoken of the traditional thirst quencher of salt and pepper sprinkled on a juicy slice of watermelon. With Nomad’s love of the Gose style, for them this was a given! So they’ve squeezed some fresh watermelon juice into their Freshie to create this super satisfying beer.
Nomad is an Aussie owned, independent brewery that set up shop in an abandoned carpet warehouse on Sydney’s Northern Beaches almost two years ago. They’re a rag tag bunch of all different nationalities brought together by a love of great beer. All that combined experience, differing viewpoints and collected air miles mean they know a thing or two and there’s nothing they like better than taking styles and techniques from around the world and pairing them with the amazing native ingredients found in their own back yard.
