TASTING NOTES
Garage Project Pernicious Weed, 330ml Can, ABV 8.0%
The arrival of hops to the brewing scene in England in the 1500s led to a moral panic. Hops were described as “a Wicked & Pernicious Weed” feared to bring the downfall of civilized society. Thankfully, they were right. Pernicious Weed is a celebration of the NZ-developed hop varieties Nelson Sauvin and Rakau. Huge grapefruit flavour in a worryingly-drinkable strong IPA.
Paulaner Hefeweizen, 500ml Bottle, ABV 5.5%
It’s the #1 wheat beer in Germany and one of the world’s favorites. In fact, beer experts call it a masterpiece. In developing this beer, the Paulaner brewmasters have perfected a unique technique with “yeast suspension,” resulting in a uniform, slightly cloudy appearance, consistent quality, and perfect taste.
Singlecut Weird & Gilly, 473ml Can, ABV 6.6%
Some cat from JAPAN suggested Singlecut do an IPA that is J-U-I-C-Y. So they packed up a pack horse and made it happen! Soft doughy and slightly tangy malt lies under bright citrus, round tropical fruit and mild pine resin hop aromatics that underscore the waves of flavours to come.
Chur Just Juicy Bubbles Sour Ale, 440ml Can, ABV 4.5%
Bubbles. Beer has bubbles (usually) so Chur has taken this 4.5% Kettle sour ale and added Passionfruit, Mango and just a hint of Guava for some fun summer drinking in the sun.
Equilibrium Fractal Citra, 473ml Can, ABV 6.8%
Fractal Citra pours a hazy-straw yellow releasing aromas of bright tropical passion fruit, pineapple, lychee, and hint of mango (complex). The taste is resinous pineapple juice with a slightly creamy mouthfeel and a firm but rounded bitterness. This medley of characteristics makes the name “Fractal Citra” warranted indeed.
Deep Creek Re-Animator Cryo IPA, 440ml Can, ABV 6.8%
Brewed for the 13th Annual NZ West Coast IPA challenge submission, with a distinctive 80’s theme and loaded with re-animated Simcoe hops for a big resinous IPA experience.
Modern Times Elara, 440ml Can, ABV 7%
Bursting with notes of mango, papaya, and fresh apricot, this IPA will be a staggeringly effective countermeasure for the enduring heat. Stuffed with heaps of Mosaic and Amarillo hops, it’ll make for a pretty fantastic way to close out the summer.

Siren Tickle Monster, 330ml Can, ABV 11%
The Tickle Monster is coming to tickle you off to bed. He’ll tickle you on your tummy. He’ll tickle you on your head. He’ll tickle you on your toes. He’ll tickle you on your thumb – and when the tickling’s finished he’ll say it’s just begun The Tickle Monster is Siren Craft Brew’s triple IPA brewed in collaboration with To Øl. Full to the brim with hops and mango this IPA is a serious full flavour experience not to be taken lightly. Beware the Tickle Monster, once he’s tickled your taste buds they will never be quite the same!

A new thick, hoppy and zesty DIPA from Alpha Delta.
London Beer Factory Staring Into Space NEIPA, 440ml Can, ABV 6.5%
A hazy IPA showcasing this year’s Galaxy hop harvest, dry-hopped at 22g/l. Passionfruit, mango, and citrus burst through while additions of Citra BBC and Mosaic BBC float in the background. An opaque yellow body complements intensely juicy flavors thanks to the oats and Vermont yeast strain.

Chur’s First new 440ml beer brewed at their Mount Eden Brewery! Something a little different. Pilsner Malt for a light colour, Citra and Chinook for a awesome pine flavour and then Lutus Lupulin Powder giving a hint of orange and vanilla. The Brew Team has assembled to bring you something fun!
