If you love Philter’s Red Ale, you’ll love this one. Their Double Red Ale is packed with passionfruit, melon, citrus and berry notes like the original, but it’s loaded with double the hops, double the flavour and double the fun. It’s a bolder, bigger, punchier Red.

BREWERY SNAPSHOT

Based in Marrickville, Philter’s founders met when Stef moved in across the road from Mick. Philter was born during a conversation over one of the countless beers they’ve shared. The boys each bring a particular skillset to the brew. Mick is a specialist in the skate and surf rag trade, most recently as GM of O’Neil Australia. Stef is a beer lover and brand-expert, having worked for the past decade in beer, cider and spirits sales and marketing including stints at Lion and Beam Suntory.
