TASTING NOTES

A medium to full bodied Irish style ale beer with a light reddish hue. Starts with initial malt sweetness and finishes with a dryness from the addition of small quantities of roasted barley & Kent Golding hops. An easy drinking smooth beer.

They strive to create the best beer possible by using the best ingredients possible and water is the key. Located in the Otways they are blessed with pure otway rainwater, it is well known that you need good water to make good beer and there’s nothing better than water from the lush rainforest.

The brewery which takes its name from a native plant local to the area is well worth a visit. Set on the edge of the beautiful Otway Ranges National Park and less than 50km from the coast, it has three holiday cottages on-site with views over the rolling countryside as well as a “Brewery Outlet”.
