Silver Medal, 2019 Australian Food Awards. We combine botanicals from the bush; lemon myrtle & native lemongrass, with lemon and lime zests and quinine from Peruvian red Cinchona bark.
There are now, we believe 37 gin distilleries in Australia creating unique amazing gins, so why mix them with an overseas tonic? Bing brand tonics can be quite astringent in the back of the throat because they use too much quinine and therefore have to add a lot of sugar to balance the flavour. We created PS Bush Tonic to compliment the Australian style of gin and not overpower it. Our Bush Tonic focuses on native botanicals: lemon myrtle and native lemongrass with less quinine and 1/3 of the sugar of most tonic brands out there to let those Aussie gin’s and vodka’s shine through!
