TASTING NOTES

Using cutting edge techniques and raw ingredients they have pushed the boundary on IPA making. Thiols are flavour precursors locked up in hops and malt. Using carefully selected ingredients at specific times unlocks these, creating the great juice flavours that they love in their IPA’s.

BREWERY SNAPSHOT

Rocks Brewing Co. take pride in the complex and sophisticated flavours of their brews, which are achieved while staying true to their simple brewing process – “Nothing but Barley, Hops, Water & Yeast.”  Their first batch of Red Ale – originally known as Richard Byrne Red Ale – was brewed September 2008 in Alexandria, Sydney. Since then they have created a core range of beers – based around the shady characters and sly merchants that called the first settlement home.
