Spotlight on HOPE ESTATE
ABOUT HOPE ESTATE
In 1994 a pharmacist by the name of Michael Hope took a chance to follow his lifelong dream and purchased 30 acres of land in the Hunter to open his own winery. Setting in motion the beginnings of an estate, that within a few years would produce some of the most renowned Hunter Valley wines in Australia and the world, becoming a household name both nationwide and internationally!
Enter Matt Hogan, the ex-head brewer at William Bull, brewing arm of De Bortoli’s. Matt joined the Hope family in 2013. Infusing his many talents to what was an already award-winning powerhouse brewery, taking out a title at the Craft Beer Awards. As the popularity grew for Hope Estate beer so did the brewery, which invested in a canning line to keep up with demand.
Today, Hope Estate Brewery is comfortably nestled in wine country, Hunter Valley, the estate is located in the heart of Pokolbin. Boasting bold beers, and wonderful wines.
