1. How was the brewery named?

We started off as Lowrider, then I dunno the name Mash Gang was suggested on the group chat and it stuck.

2. What beers do you have at home in your fridge now?

Balter WC IPA, Few OneDrop’s fruited sours and our Mash Gang Beach Goon Super Session IPA.

3.Best tip for visiting the brewery?

We’re gypsy brewing out of OneDrop, tell Nick I said “G’day”

4. Pineapple on pizza, YES or NO?

YES!!!

5. If you can only use one hop for the rest of your life, what is it?

6. If you could collaborate with one other brewery, who would you choose?

Garage Project or Mountain Culture

7. Some occasions call for the ‘perfect’ beer, what are you reaching for:

a beach beer? Mash Gang Beach Goon Super Session IPA, no booze so can legally drink on the beach
an airport beer? Whatever is cold, Brisbane airport has a Newstead tap which is good!
the end of the day beer? DIPA
the ‘best beer with dinner’ beer? Macro American Lager
to kick back and watch sport with? Been into YH classic XPA recently

8. What’s the future of craft and can Craft Cartel beer lovers get on board?

The immediate future looks like cost effective boring beer, but we’re not having any of that. Overdosed hop bombs and innovative non alc brews are what we’re here for.
