Big Shed Erebus Imperial Stout

TASTING NOTES

Aroma- Coffee, dark chocolate
Mouthfeel- Big silky mouthfeel from the big addition of rolled oats
Flavour- Coffee, chocolate and booze
Hops: Sabro, Fuggles
Malt bill: American Ale, Rolled Oats, Eclipse, Light Chocolate, Roast Barley, Dark Crystal.
Subtle kettle additions of Sabro and Fuggles are in the background but they let the heroes of the beer shine through with big notes of coffee and dark chocolate from the specialty malt, with that silkiness and full body from the oats giving it a creamy, velvety mouthfeel.

BREWERY SNAPSHOT

Big Shed Brewing Co naturally started out in a big shed on a rented property in the Barossa all the way back in 2002 . It has since grown into a successful commercial operation run out of a cool warehouse in Royal Park, South Australia.
