TASTING NOTES
In Autumn 2012, Bridge Road invited Mikkel Borg Bjergsø of Mikkeller to Beechworth. Together they made ‘The Dark Harvest’. Bridge Road now brew this beer annually for their harvest festival, High Country Hops. This black IPA combines a complex and savoury malt bill with the unique flavours of freshly harvested hops from their ‘neighbour’s at Rostrevor hop garden.

Conceived by Ben Kraus in his dad’s back shed in 2005, Bridge Road Brewers has grown to become one of Australia’s best craft breweries. In their hometown of Beechworth they are constantly developing new recipes to satisfy the curiosity of themselves and their customers.

Bridge Road are not prepared to just pump out a couple of run of the mill ales or have their beer brewed under license by someone else. Prefer to create beer from scratch, using their own production equipment on their own site in their home town of Beechworth, it’s their passion, not a hobby or a chance to make a quick buck.
