Karengo is an edible purple seaweed from Kaikoura, NZ. A Gose (go-sah) is a cloudy German wheat beer brewed with salted water. Karengose (Ka-ren-go-sah) fuses German style and NZ Karengo into something rich and strange, tart and briny with a luscious sour finish. Unfiltered.

Kereru brews British and European style craft beer. Their mission is to produce fresh, locally-supplied beers made from the finest ingredients available. The beers they make are free of chemical preservatives and (except for the honey ale) vegan. Hops, the low ph of beer and alcohol, are all natural preservatives.
