TASTING NOTES
Stockade Brew Co Refreshing Ale is the newest member of the Stockade Brew Co family and is a light, well-balanced, easy-drinking and highly-sessionable summer ale. Launched in the 2nd half of 2019 as part of Stockade Brew Co’s redesign of their core range and brand new tinnies, Stockade Brew Co Refreshing Ale combines premium Australian hops and malt, delivering a delicately balanced cool fermented ale, with crisp passionfruit notes and a subtle, clean and biscuity malt finish. D-licious!
BREWERY SNAPSHOT
Stockade started their brewery in 2013 and called it Macarthur Grange Brewery, a word play on a great Australian pioneer and the physical location of their Brauhaus. They soon started to plot around a series of beers that are both modern and classic at the same time, combining traditional European styles with Australian ingredients and flavours. The “German” brother has left his mark all over the brewery and the beer, insisting on using only the highest quality ingredients, no sugars for high speed fermentation and no preservatives to destroy the “purity” of the beer.
