TASTING NOTES

This badass will wrestle you out of the ring and hit you with hops from all angles. With sweet stonefruit up front and a smooth, piney resin following hot on its heels, it finishes you off with hot burning wasabi and ginger. A dank, piney and resinous beer, with a lingering 80 IBU’s  you are sure to remember this well after the match is over.

BREWERY SNAPSHOT

Stockade started their brewery in 2013 and called it Macarthur Grange Brewery, a word play on a great Australian pioneer and the physical location of their Brauhaus. They soon started to plot around a series of beers that are both modern and classic at the same time, combining traditional European styles with Australian ingredients and flavours. The “German” brother has left his mark all over the brewery and the beer, insisting on using only the highest quality ingredients, no sugars for high speed fermentation and no preservatives to destroy the “purity” of the beer.

DID YOU KNOW?

Stockade’s first creation was a fourteenth century Germany saison-style beer, brewed with 200 kilograms of peaches.
