A traditional style oatmeal stout brewed with a mix of English and New Zealand malts, English hops and yeast.

BREWERY SNAPSHOT

Based in Melbourne’s inner west they have a love affair for great beer as well as their home turf. The guys currently ‘gypsy’ brew each one of their beers, by hand, at existing Victorian breweries that have excess capacity. They are looking to build their own small brewery in the near future and add to the growing craft beer culture in the area.

Every brewing company has its own unique origin story, but it is unlikely there’s another in Australia that could claim theirs started with a Facebook beer appreciation group. But West City Brewing can wave that flag, having started in August 2015 following a meeting of homebrewers Bevan Dalziel and Fergus McGregor while on a pub crawl.
