TASTING NOTES
Willie the Boatman tried to go old school with a classic West Coast IPA, using a C.A.T. hop combo of Citra, Azacca and Talus. The ship’s cat took that as an invitation to get involved, so it pushed a whole fruit bowl of grapefruit & oranges off the bench and into the tank, complimenting the hops with big hits of pine, citrus, pineapple, and hints of resin. Like all classic West Coast IPAs, it has a smooth, medium body malt backbone and a firm bitterness. Big and bold while being zesty, refreshing, and balanced. Malt Pilsner, Vienna, Wheat, Carapils Hops Citra, Azacca, Talus Fruit Grapefruit & Orange.
