TASTING NOTES
The AAAM brand is reserved for the finest wool, and Woolshed Brewing figured using the best malt, hops and rain water produces a beer that the fussiest wool classer would approve. Originally produced for the Centenary of Wilkadene Homestead, AAAM is brewed with crystal wheat to give the beer a toffee character and amber hue.
BREWERY SNAPSHOT
After purchasing a ‘Brewmaster 1000-2E Microbrewery from Australian company Integrated Brewing Solutions in July 2008, the clean up and installation of the old Woolshed began. Woolshed is a zero waste brewery, utilising state of the art designs to use and re-use hot and cold water without the need for excessive heating. Also, with drainage troughs and a holding/settling tank, all waste water from the brewery is used on their extensive garden.
DID YOU KNOW?
Woolshed use all of their spent grain to feed their livestock. With further recent upgrades to their solar power, Woolshed is now in excess of 30kw helping to power the brewery and houseboats.
