TASTING NOTES

This tentacled terminator packs a punch – ten punches to be precise. Each hop addition adds to the intense layers of depth in this red rye IPA. Toasty caramel & cinder toffee from crystal malts, cacao richness from intensely roasted malt and the spiciness of rye. Zesty pithiness from citra and the robust resin of chinook. This small batch exclusive brew is up-front intensity matched with twisted complexity.

BREWERY SNAPSHOT

Brewdog owners Martin and James were bored of the industrially brewed Lagers and stuffy Ales that dominated the UK beer market. They decided the best way to fix this undesirable predicament was to brew their own. Consequently in April 2007 BrewDog was born. They brewed tiny batches, filled bottles by hand and sold their beers at local markets and out of the back of their beat up old van. Located on a 5.5 acre green field site in Ellon, just North of Aberdeen in Scotland, their state of the art eco brewery is one of the most technologically advanced and environmentally friendly breweries in the world.
